The Only "Time Posted" Label Certified as Genuine Use

This cover is #7 in the Bowman-Alexander census of Hussey's Time Posted labels. One of Only 8. Cover addressed to Miss Anna Lloyd in Hollidaysburg, Pa., with the1861 issue tied by black cork cancel. Black circular Altoona, Pa. datestamp “APR/2 31” and Hussey’s “Time Posted” label at lower left, showing manuscript “7:30” time and “2nd” day. It is the only recorded example to have received a Philatelic Foundation certificate, which states the label is genuinely used on cover and an apparently legitimate use of the seal.
