datestamps on the front, red "16 / CENTS", reverse with partial red Singapore c.d.s and red oval "FORWARDED BY / BOUSTEAD & Co". An attractive cover carried via Marseille and the Inman Line "Etna" from Liverpool to New York under contract to the U.S
Post Office, charged 5c internal U.S postage, 1/9 credited from Singapore to London and 16c (8d) from London to the U.S.A, the Boustead & Co forwarding cachet suggesting this may have originated in Manila or Bangkok. Small part flap missing,

DARWIN - COCOS / VIA DJAKARTA" vignette on reverse tied by circular "C.&W. LTD / 30 MAY 1951 / COCOS". The first with a little staining on reverse, the final cover with staining from tape used to seal the flap, a good commercial group. (3).
