India. 1931 (Jan 19) Indian Round-Table Conference notepaper bearing KGV 1924-26 ½d - 1/- and Bradbury Wilkinson 2/6, 5/- and 10/- each cancelled by "INDIAN ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE" c.d.s on the final day of the

manuscript, backstamped with the correct "SHIP LETTER / LONDON" datestamp with datestamps of Edinburgh (Sep 26) and London (Sep 29), charged 2/-. The part letter includes "this is the first letter I have sent by the steam vessels - a treble letter
which will only cost 2/- which is cheaper than a parcel of the smallest size". File fold at left, otherwise fine, the first crutched cross error we have seen on an inland ship letter. Photo on Page 40. (Image1)
