The King and Queen were on the Royal Racht "Victoria and Albert", which called at Colonsay on August 28/29. A unique use of the KEVII ½d R.H Official stamp on a picture postcard. Photo on Page 78. This skeleton was issued to the temporary telegraph office at Chatsworth House during the five day visit of the King and Queen (Jan 4-8); it is only recorded on a few picture postcards sent by Barlerin.
