1611 Zimbabwe. 1980-2020 Covers showing the effects of inflation (and hyperinflation) on the postal rates, most covers written up on pages with the rates explained, many differing cancels, many registered covers with studies of formula registration envelopes and registration labels, postage due mail, express and parcel labels, also a folder of notes on the ever changing rates. A fascinating collection, the Airmail letter rate to G.B rising from 17c in 1980 to 130 billion dollars in July 2008 (the third Zimbabwe Dollar issued in August 2008 removing ten zeros from the currency, another twelve zeros removed from the currency with the issue of the fourth Zimbabwe Dollar in Feb. 2009). Various stamps show face values up to $500,000 in 2006, subsequent stamps simply showing a letter. (1000+).
