82 1d Essays from Plate VI printed in red with the vertical strip of five ½d - 2d essays removed from the left, a line perforated block of 36 with margins on all sides, and block of thirty (rows 1-5 with row 6 removed) perforated vertically and imperforate horizontally. Due to the misalignment of the five essays added to the left of the 36 1d essays plate VI sheets could only be perforated if these five essays were removed, and most sheets from this plate were therefore imperforate. Two scarce and unusual blocks. (66, in two blocks).

83 Plate VI Essays, perforated vertical se-tenant ½d+2d+1½d+2d+2d strips of five from the left of the sheet in red, green or purple, and 1d proofs (121) including four vertical strips of four and two singles in red perforated vertically and imperforate horizontally, others imperforate (79) or perforated (24) in ten differing colours with eleven horizontal strips of the six types, gummed and ungummed paper, a few with the "SPECIAL POSTAGE PAPER / LONDON" watermark. (4 sheets).

85 Plate VIII Perforated essay sheets of 24 (6x4) comprising ½d frame I (12), 1½d frame K (6) and 2d frame J (6), printed in blue, reddish purple or dull purple on gummed wove paper, the dull purple sheet still with the very wide right margin (the sheet 246x141mm), the other sheets with this right margin reduced. The large dull purple sheet with some strengthened perfs and scrape to three stamps but very scarce, the others fine. (3 sheets).
