Sale #S126: The Winthrop Holding of Rare and Desirable United States Stamps Part 6. All lots offered without reserve. Live bidding will start at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, September 7, 2024 thru Stamp Auction Network. Lots sold in this sale are subject to a 12½% buyer’s premium.

We are pleased to offer another group of stamps from this remarkable holding of United States stamps spanning issues from both the19th & 20th centuries.

Among the highlights we would like to mention a couple of Postmaster's Provisionals incl. the 1845 5-cent St. Louis Bear Unused, 1846 Providence RI se-tenant sheet, a number of desirable classic stamps in the 1847-1888 era, official reprints, re-issues, 1870 90c carmine with grill mint, 1901 1c Pan-American Invert mint, Bluish papers incl. 6c used and 8c mint, 1954 2c Silkote paper complete sheet of 100, 1930 Graf Zeppelin Plate Block set never hinged, as well as a number of scarce and attractive 20th century issues.
