The provenance and census data is a great tool to be used for comparing individual stamps from the same issue and keeping track of value trends for particular stamps and issues. The data is compiled using image recognition technology. Even though this is a relatively new technology that only will improve over time, it is remarkably specific in recognizing individual stamps. The census and provenance values were provided at the time of describing, some of rankings may have changed by the time of the auction
