This postal history collection consists of about 150 covers with first flights from the 1930s and rate covers for the ever accelerating hyperinflation from the early 1940s to 1949. The inflation period postal history covers the Chinese National Currency (CNC) period from October 1945 up to August 1948, the Gold Yuan Period from late August 1948 to late May 1949, and the Silver Yuan Period from late May 1949 to the collapse of the ROC in the October – December 1949 period.
