Many of the better stamps in the sale have expert markings or old French dealer markings on the back. Any stamp signed by Pascal Scheller, Paris have been directly submitted by us. If the buyer wishes to obtain a certificate for any of these stamps, or any other stamp in the sale, we are able to obtain these at cost from Mr. Scheller.

Throughout the sale we have used the Scott catalogs as well as the Maury catalogs. Maury in most cases provides more detailed listing than any other current catalog for French Colonies.
