This is a Monday Sale!

Many of the better stamps in the sale have expert markings or old French dealer markings on the back. Any stamp signed by Pascal Scheller, Paris have been directly submitted by us. If the buyer wishes to obtain a certificate for any of these stamps, or any other stamp in the sale, we are able to obtain these at cost from Mr. Scheller.

Throughout the sale we have used the Scott catalogs as well as the Maury catalogs. Maury in most cases provides more detailed listing than any other current catalog for French Colonies. It is our understanding that the current publisher of the five volumes of French Colonies Maury catalogs has no plans to publish any updated versions currently. We have been able to acquire a small stock of the last available catalogs, which we plan to offer for sale on our website in the near future, in addition to the annually published Maury France catalog.

We understand if some collectors will find this sale a temptation to go beyond their normal stamp budget. If that is the case, we will be able to offer extended payment terms. Please contact Tor Bjork for more information.

For our buyers outside of the the US, we also offer a shipping incentive if purchases exceed $1,000.00 and fits into a USPS medium flat rate box. Shipping can be combined from different sales. Contact us for details.

French Colonies lots will also appear in our regular Box & Country Lot auctions throughout the year. This sale closes on Monday, January 15, 2018 1:00 PM EST.
