We are pleased to present a collection that was painstakingly built by a Paris stamp trader that enjoyed passing his weekends trading stamps at the famous outdoor Paris stamp market. Not a man of great means, he used skill and knowledge to trade up and improve his collection for decades. Starting out with mostly used stamps he gradually acquired mint example of the stamp he could afford. Appearance was the key to his collecting and he always strived to obtain the most attractive possible example. If the stamp was in perfect condition so much better. There are plenty of very fine and extremely fine stamps throughout in this offering. Besides some truly gorgeous classics, the rare 1928, 10fr on 90c PASTEUR "Ile de France" AIR POST stamp is as near perfection as possible. Many of the stamps have expert signatures and all stamps signed or certified by Pascal Scheller have been submitted directly to Mr. Scheller by ourselves.
