Sale #S129: The Winthrop Holding of Rare and Desirable United States Stamps Part 7. All lots offered without reserve. Live bidding will start at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, November 2, 2024 thru Stamp Auction Network. Lots sold in this sale are subject to a 12½% buyer’s premium.

We are pleased to offer another group of stamps from this remarkable holding of United States stamps spanning issues from both the 19th & 20th centuries. Among the highlights we would like to mention Postmaster's Provisionals incl. the 1845 10-cent St. Louis Bear uncancelled, a number of desirable classic stamps in the 1847-1875 era including the 1857 1c Blue Type III position 99R2 used on cover, 1857 5c Red Brown Type I Unused, official reprints, re-issues, $5 Columbian used on cover, $1 Trans-Mississippi never hinged graded ‘85’, 1901 1c Pan-American Invert mint, 1930 Graf Zeppelin Plate Blocks never hinged, as well as a number of scarce and attractive 20th century issues.
