677 Obl R130 Image#R130, $25.00 Blue and black, block of four, bright rich colors, 1862 ms. cancels (apparently back-dated to correspond with dates on the original legal instrument), bottom stamps with faint horizontal crease, a couple tiny hinge sliver reinforcements, fine; not only is this the largest recorded multiple, it is the sole block of any size of this stamp known; a block of four is not priced in Scott, therefore we have simply cataloged it as two pairs; ex-Scheupbach. 680 O R133 Image#R133, $500.00 Red orange, green and black, "Large Persian Rug," a most impressive example of this always popular high value, possessing gorgeous colors that are especially rich and radiant, light violet ms. cancel without any of the cut cancels that affect many copies, the only fault is a horizontal crease (nearly all examples have some kind of fault or repair), very fine appearance; this is the very stamp that the Scott United States Specialized Catalogue uses as their photo for the Large Persian Rug.
