Germany Empire starts with Scott #1 unused, followed by Scott #2-21 mostly used, #23-28 are mixed used and unused, 1875 to 1902 issues are used. Issues from 1905 to 1923 are mixed mint and used and are mostly complete. Issues from 1925 to 1947 are complete, mixed mint and used. Airmails C38, C39, C40-C42, C43-C45 are all F/VF mint og, the rest of airmails are mixed mint and used. BOB is well -filled mixed mint and used. 1958 to 1992 is essentially complete mixed mint and used. States are well represented both mint and used with valuable material present Includes Prussia, Hamburg, Lubeck, Bergedorf, Wurttemberg, Bavaria, Baden, Saxony, Hanover, etc., and will probably require a careful review for further appreciation.
