Corps Exped." departure cds, with "Corps Exp.Tonkin" (10 Feb) transit and handstamp of the senior postal official, arrival markings on back, fine (Chantabun was occupied in 1893 by a French force of four hundred men, a step taken by France as a guarantee for the execution by Siam of undertakings entered into by the treaty of that year.
