location (known used at San Jose, Mindoro from March 1945 and possibly earlier; Proud 300pts each), one to Victoria with Melbourne civilian censor label & cachet, the others to NSW one on Comfort Funds envelope, all with KGVI 3d brown except one with
4d Koala (the Australian rate; which suggests the unit had only recently moved overseas), plus 1945 from Army Post Office 'AUST UNIT POSTAL STN/396' cds at Manila with US APO 500 (Proud Not Seen), generally fine to very fine.

' cds with blue R label 'Aust F.P.O. No. 30' amended to "29" in red, very fine 'UNIT POSTAL STN/ 5 JUN 1944 / W [ ] ' boxed rubber datestsamp in violet (without number) on reverse lightly over-struck by 'PERTH' transit of the next day, minor edge
faults at base. Presumably sent from the UPS and registered in transit: FPOs 29 & 51 were both at Moora (and FPO 30 had been there until Jan 44). Location uncertain: Haynes states at p609 that "Evidence from a correspondent indicates that the digits
fell off this handstamp ('W11') in early May 1944 and that it continued to be used as a W [without number] until the arrival of AUPS 333 in July 1944". (Image1) (Image2)
