Turned and re-used Worsperbridge (near Barnsley) to Grimsby with postage paid in cash and BARNSLEY date stamp JA 26 1843 and GRIMSBY JA 27 1843. Unusual usage. (Ref 100694).

Huth and Co London' with manuscript 'pr Steamer Gt Western' and carried on the 31st crossing from the USA to the UK, charged '8'. On reverse chamfered 'JU 8 43/LIVERPOOL/SHIP' and oval 'FORWARDED BY/NEW YORK/COLLOMB and ISELIN.' forwarding agent's cachet, both struck in black. Great Western departed New York 25 5 43 arriving Liverpool 8 6 43. (Ref 93444).
