Comprising: fine complete marginal sheets of 20 of the advance publicity label in the three printed colours of magenta, green and brown; a fine example of the admission ticket to the exhibition which was held at the Royal Horticultural Hall in Westminster; 1923 'STAMP COLLECTING' cover used in London with KGV ½d (SG351) with fine 'INTERNATIONAL STAMP EXHIBITION/LONDON' cancellation 14 MAY 23, the first day, also piece with similar usage; letter dated May 4 1923 to Fred Melville (President of the Junior Philatelic Society who organised the exhibition) requesting three tickets for the exhibition with the self addressed envelope with KGV 1½d cancelled Exhibition hand stamp 16 MAY 23, on reverse two 1d Mercury labels which were not accepted for postage; six covers posted from the exhibition with exhibition cancellations 16th May, 17th May x 2, 25th May being a W Ward Mulready reproduction envelope and 26th May, the last day with two covers and a block of four KGV ½d issue; and lastly an example of the 1890 Post Office Jubilee 1d blue envelope with the fine overprint in red 'Souvenir from Stall No.3. C. FOX and Co., Foreign Stamp Dealers....'. (20 items). A superb lot. (Ref 129475).

Noble, 39 Lady Margaret Rd, London N.W.' at upper right unused example 1860 1d Inland Revenue reddish lilac on bluish paper overprinted 'INLAND/REVENUE' in red (SGF8/L108). Alongside superb strike 'KENTISH.TOWN.N.W.' squared circle DE 8 88. RPS cert 211047 states 'L108... used on cover dated 9 DEC 88-stamp very toned and torn across centre at right-is genuine as far as one can say despite the lack of tieing'. Stamp on cover catalogues £1500 and unused example with large part original gum (Cat £900) also accompanies. (2 items plus RPS cert). (Ref 127505).

The way bill listing the various passengers and their destinations with charges to be collected.
