Please note the following:
We do everything we can to respond to our ebay buyers as professionally as possible. However, the recent development of SPAM filters is making that more difficult. We are dealing with dozens of customers who are not getting our invoices, who are not getting our responses to their questions etc.. So please note the following.

  • We send a consolidated invoice to all our buyers after the sale closes. Do not ask us for an invoice, it will be sent to you. Do not use eBAYs checkout, it does no good, it just makes us wonder why you aren't getting our invoice. If you want us to consolidate several invoices from auctions closing in different weeks, we will be glad to do so. Just ask.
  • TURN YOUR SPAM Filters off if you expect to get a reply from us. Some SPAM filters now work such that they STOP ALL NEW EMAIL Addresses. We are continuously repling to peoples questions and our replies are bouncing back to us. This is a real PAIN IN THE NECK.
  • If after three days after the auction, and you still don't have an invoice, 99% of the time it is because your ISP or you are blocking our email. Make sure that you are NOT and ask us for another invoice. We will be glad to send you another.
  • Please read our terms, we DO NOT TAKE PAYPAL.
  • If you are outside the United States. Check your invoice. Sometimes we can tell by your email address, but if you have a .com address, we assume you are in the United States. Make sure to ask us to recalculate your shipping. Our shipping fees are listed below. Our smallest package weighs 3 oz. and our minimum shipping outside the US is $3.40. Shipping is .80 + postage. Our cardboard mailers weigh 2 oz and with the weigh of the lotting card, nothing ships for less than 3 oz.
  • Please do not ask us to take your stamps out of their protective lotting cards and place them in an envelope with a stiffener and send them for .80. Most other eBAY sellers may do this, but we do not. Our shippers will survive emersion in water for extended periods of time.
  • Please do not ask us to sell you items that did not sell. It is against the eBAY rules. We will reoffer the items.
  • We take VISA and Mastercard ONLY and ONLY for foreign purchases. We must charge 4% as we sell on consignment (we get 10% and can't afford to pay the banks 4% - really 40% of our operating marging -- we do not own the material). You can email us your Credit Card info or fax it to 919-403-8199.
  • SPAM Filters are a Problem. If you still don't get our invoice, send us your fax number and we will fax you your invoice.
  • If after all this, you still never get an invoice from us, you can send payment + shipping to our address below. Shipping in the US is generally $1.63 for a single small lot, outside the US it is $3.40 for a single item, .80 for each additional item (each lotting card is .8 oz), assuming no large lots.
  • However, If you email us asking for our address, we assume you did not get our invoice. Our address is on our invoice. Make sure you get our invoice as it has the correct amount to pay.

Each week we place a variety of interesting stamps and covers for sale at eBay. See the table of contents below for this weeks eBay offerings. We process all invoices once all the lots have closed. We process "Buy it Now Items" twice a week, on Monday and Thursday. We rarely wait for your check to clear the bank and we pack and ship your purchases professionally. All US shipments over $100 are sent Certified and we self insure. We charge a modest $.80 charge per invoice to cover packaging, handling and self insurance. We try to charge you the exact shipping, we weigh each lot during auction preparation and our computer system calculates the weight of the shipment and the postage. This is all calculated, charged and collected before we ever pick and pack your shipment. Irradiated Mail. We have had our first experience with a package that was damaged by the irradiation process. We are paying for the loss ourselves. However, if it happens again, we are going to have to charge for additional insurance to cover this problem. The rest of our policies are explained in detail below. We hope you will enjoy our auctions and we will continue to provide the best service we can.

Payment Terms

Payment Terms. We accept personal checks (drawn on a US Bank in US Funds), money orders, cashiers checks, and cash. For international order only we will accept VISA or MasterCard for your convenience, but we must charge a 4% fee. We operate our sales on a fixed 10% commission, and the merchant fees reduce our income by 60%. We do NOT take American Express, Discover, PayPal or any other payment not listed above. Do not send unused stamps without gum as payment - you will not be credited for them. Lots will be shipped on receipt of payment to our existing customers with good credit history, to APS members, and to eBay bidders with a feedback rating of 10 or more. If you are a new customer, not an APS member, or have a low feedback rating, we may hold your check until it clears the bank. Note: We ship about 99% of our orders on receipt of payment, HOWEVER, we always reserve the right NOT to ship until a check clears the bank at our personal discretion. For instance, we do not ship precious metals (Gold for instance) until your check clears the bank.

Shipping Fees

Estimated Shipping Fees. Your purchases will be combined and shipping fees will be charged according to the following table. All lots are professionally packaged and privately insured -- Shipments over $100 are sent certified or registered. These rates are for the US only. Upon receipt of our invoice, please reply ASAP if you require shipping outside the US so that we can provide you with a revised invoice. These shipping fees are Estimates based on small lots. Shipping fees will be adjusted for heavier orders. In order to expedite your shipment, postage is calculated based on the estimated weight of your order. Actual postage used may be slightly more or less. Please Note: We use a sturdy cardboard mailer for ALL our shipments regardless of value. These mailers weigh 2 oz., that is why our postage costs may exceed those you are accustomed to from other eBAY sellers.

NC State Tax. North Carolina residents will be charged NC sales tax. If you are a new customer, we will not know that you are a NC resident until you reply to our initial invoice. Please do so ASAP so that we can provide you with a correct invoice. If you have a valid resale number, please notify us so that we can eliminate tax from your invoice.

Returns Policy

Returns Policy. All stamps and covers are guaranteed genuine as described. Any stamp or cover that is incorrectly described may be returned for full refund within 10 days of receipt. They must be returned by certified or registered mail in the same condition as offered.

Expertization Policy

Expertization Policy. If a buyer wants to send a lot for expertization, they must notify us within 10 days of sale in writing. The purchaser has sole responsibility for expertizing and shall provide the certificate to us within 120 days from date of sale. All charges of certification are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
