3882 /o imageSWITZERLAND Superb & Powerful, Quality Switzerland Collection 1850-2001, in four Lindner hingeless albums plus a stockbook, starts with 36 used stamps of 1850-52 including 1 (x2), 2 (x2), 5 (x2), 7 (x3), 8 (x8), 10 (x8), 11 (x2), 12 (x7) & 13 (x1), most with black lozenge cancels, all are genuine with several signed, a few with minor faults, but generally quite nice and select examples, 53 Strubels all used, most of the emerald thread varieties, and special printing thin paper, perf Seated Helvetias are both mint & used, used 67 with certificate, excellent Standing Helvetias, mint VF very rare 103, Pax issue mint & used, eight different mint 1913 Flugspende stamps, used C2 signed, postage dues are complete except for J12, with numerous shade varieties, O1-47 mint NH, both IKW sets (signed), complete mint perfin officials of the 1935-37 (very scarce in this condition), the stockbook contains all of the official stamps for international agencies, 1922-40 are generally CTO later (1944 onwards) never hinged, also in this volume is a comprehensive mint collection of all of sê-tenânt and tête-bêche pairs and strips, plus 30 of the Zwischensteg-paare of 1910-33, all souvenir sheets mint and used, all of former are never hinged except for NABA that is very lightly hinged, an incredible depth that would be difficult to duplicate, one of the finest we have had the pleasure to present at public auction. owners catalog SBK Sfr 133,000 + $142,000, F.-V.F.

3889 o SWITZERLAND Used Collection, 1850//1981, from the early Federal issues through more recent "cancelled to order" in TWO PALO hingeless albums (pages thru 2006, RETAIL OVER $750 for albums alone) and encompassing the full range of Swiss issues (less Cantonals) - "Rayons" including the three types 1852 15r, Seated and Standing Helvetia represented including 5r Orange Brown (#14), Numerals, early 1900s definitives, the post WW I issues including strong Pro Juventute and Pro Patria with S/S, 1945 PAX including block of 10Fr, then airmails, postage dues, smattering of officials, modern period is the weakest, some minor condition issues in the classics but much better than typically encountered, mostly F-VF, a "meaty" collection offered intact and with considerable catalog value.

3892 o/ SWITZERLAND Imperf Seated Helvetia Collection, 1854/62, exemplary collection neatly arranged and annotated on quadrille pages with stamps uniformy selected for excellent margins, freshness and cancel quality with many stamps an "on the nose" town or a light but crisply applied diamond grid cancel, 109 stamps incl three pairs and a 10r strip of three plus 19 covers incl bisect, among the more attractive items we note 5r with centrally struck Geneva "rose" cancel, 1856 registered cover Zurich to Lengau with 10r, 15r franking, 1858 cover Moutier to Courrendlin with boxed "TROPTARD" marking, etc., overall Very Fine an outstanding collection of this perenially popular area and well worth a close and careful viewing as the description alone can't do proper justice to the collection.

3897 /o SWITZERLAND Specialized Collection and backup, 1862-1907, generally used, selected for cancels, Seated Helvetia issues include wide variety of shades including 50a, 52a & 56a, no more than 20 of each, & includes 42, 46-50, 54 & 58, 1881 issue includes mint blocks of 4, there are five copies of the scacer values with forged cancels. Cross & Numeral stamps include 78-81 on white paper, many shade varieties & various cancels, Standing Helvetias include a set of perf 9½ & several used pairs, also present are 87b, 111 & 111a, and 26 of the 3 franc stamps, also ten used copies each of the 1900 UPU issue and 6 copies of 102, most have interesting and diverse town cancels, many socked on the nose, F.-V.F.
