The Rankin Forgeries Reference Collections

3472 L'Union Philatélique de Genève, The Forgeries of François Fournier, Album de Fac-Similes, Number 303, of a very limited number of 480, produced in 1928 by the Philatelic Union of Geneva after the purchase of Fournier's stock of forgeries following his death in 1927. The legendary work is comprised of 13 introductory pages of text, plus 165 pages of forged stamps, surcharges and cancellations. The cover has been superbly, professionally restored, and the pages within remain in the finest quality realistically obtainable. Very Fine and choice, a select example of one of the few remaining, intact handbook catalogs in private ownership.

The Fournier handbooks were assembled in an ad hoc manner depending on the stocks of forgeries available at the particular time. Therefor no two books were ever the same.
