Berner Co. and features a fancy scroll design in red and blue, with patriotic eagle and shield at top left, soldier firing rifle at bottom left and an ornamental wreath in blue surrounds the U.S. stamp at top right, with central slogan "Our Country, May She Ever Be Right," stamp with trivial pre-affixing wrinkles and a few toned perf. tips, card quite immaculate with only a couple of minor corner bends, overall very fine and truly stunning; one of the finest illustrated covers of the late 19th century we have ever seen and certainly a key rarity for the Spanish American War collector; ex-Bleuler (sold privately).
