Q1-12, JQ1-5 |
#Q1-12, JQ1-5, The remarkable balance of premium quality mint Parcel
Post and Parcel Post Postage Due stamps from the Merrill Bothamley
estate, a small stockbook containing a total of 101 single stamps, each
hand selected by Mr. Bothamley over a period of many years for their
wonderful freshness, centering and margins, buying each individually from
retailers and auctions alike, many are in truly extraordinary quality with
a number qualifying as true gems, and some jumbo examples are present as
well, quantities range from two of the $1.00 (one of which is a pristine
gem) to no more than ten of some lower values, all have wonderfully fresh
o.g., the majority are, amazingly, never hinged, and the few hinged stamps
have generally been very lightly hinged, no stamp in this impressive lot
grades any less than very fine and a large number are extremely fine;
examination is essential to fully appreciate and correctly evaluate this
one-of-a-kind balance. |
