sheet, with sheet selvages at left and at right, containing the first ty#56c, 2c Orange vermilion and black, horizontal pair, right stamp without "Canal Zone", a wonderful full bottom margin horizontal strip of ten, being the bottom row from the sheet, with sheet selvages at left and at right, containing the first type of this error, a horizontal pair with "Canal Zone" omitted from the right stamp, having been caused when the overprint plate was shifted to far to the left on one pane from a sheet of 200, therefore this strip also shows "Canal Zone" in the margin of the left stamp, unusually fresh and bright, crisp and intact, full fresh o.g. but for some minor gum loss mostly in the selvage under the error, sensible hinge reinforcement, normal stamps n.h, fine-very fine, the error pair being extremely fine; a unique and desirable multiple for the specialist, with only eleven examples of the overprint omitted from the right stamp printed; ex-Helme (CZSG 56c.I).
