803 ^ imageTwo pieces of Americana. Includes a funeral notice for Charles Brown who was killed on October 5, 1892 in Coffeyville, Kansas by the Dalton Gang. This is an example of rare Old West memorabilia. Likewise entails a letter from Nathan Leopold Jr (1904-1971) who with Richard Loebs was the murderer of Bobby Frank on May 21, 1924 in Chicago. Just before his death, Leopold wrote to a person who wishes to know the history of his family name. Exasperated by this inquiry, he replies with sarcasm. An interesting historical item. The bidder who spends the time to carefully inspect this one will have a great advantage over the others.
