1813-14 Collection of entires addressed to Wm Borthwick, East Lothian Bank,
Edinburgh. Many with Scottish 'Addl ½d' boxed handstamp and red circular datestamps with a variety of manuscript charges. Interestingly William Borthwick was the chief cashier for the Bank which was forced to close in 1822 due to Borthwick absconding
with the Bank's funds. Handy lot for specialist. (21) (Image 1)
