Mexico. 20th Century Issues. 1934, 2c. Scarlet, "Salto del Agua", with "Secretaría de Hacienda" revenue watermark, perf. 10½, a vertical strip of three, cancelled with a Santa Rosalía c.d.s. dated 3rd March 1936.
Bottom centering. According to García Prada, only about 20 examples are known, although this strip may not have been included in his calculations; this is likely the largest and only multiple known, making it one of the most significant and desirable
semi-modern rarities of Mexico. Cert. MEPSI (2025). Scott 735A, $18,000. (Image1)

Mexico. 20th Century Issues. 1935, "Amelia Earhart", 20c. Red overprint, and Official Airmail 40c. Brown, on a very attractive flown registered cover from Mexico City to New York, dated 8th May 1935, autographed
by Amelia Earhart and addressed to herself, additionally franked with U.S. 3c. and 15c. postage. Extremely rare. In 1935 Amelia Earhart visited Mexico, and the government issued an airmail stamp for the mail carried on the return flight. Only 300
stamps were issued, and another 480 were overprinted "MUESTRA" as specimens. It is believed that only 35-40 covers were ever carried on this flight. Cert. MEPSI (2025). Scott C74, CO14, $4,000 as a used single off-cover. (Image1)
