910 bof image1918/19: Hradcany collection in stockbook with many itemised plate flaws noted by Roy Dehn, enormous amount of unused multiple, with many corner and marginal blocks mostly plated and with stamp positions indicated (Dehn's pencilled annotations), 5 h, block of four perf. 11¾ x 11 (signed Gilbert), and a range of scarcer materiial at the 'back of the book' with 1 h. brown perf. 11½ and imperforate between, both Official and Unofficial perforations etc. Note: Many early sheets were distributed to Post Offices imperforate which led to the appearance of a range of unofficial perforations. Postmasters, banks and businesses used their own ‘punches’ including sewing machines to create ‘pin-perfs’ which cannot be easily identified, and custom tools creating ‘rough perfs’ which in most cases cannot be measured. Roy Dehn was of the opinion that line-perf 10 (a few noted here) was an official perf used ‘only for stamps destined as records or to go to the Postal Museum’.
