1864/1950 (ca.), large mint never hinged/unused, used and covers collection, neatly housed in four albums, highly specialized with shades, multiples and some sheets, lovely sections of Jammu and Kashmir with watercolor and oil printings, Travancore, Bhopal, Bamra, Jind, Bundi etc., also some booklets (Idar) and postal stationeries, many good values throughout, some forgeries and reprints noted. As expected conditions varies, nevertheless mostly fine to very fine, a substantial specialist holding of great interest

½ a. black on pink with embossed 'peacock', tied by native cancel, with combination franking India QV ½ a. green, tied by "INDORE CITY" squared circle, on cover to Tellichery with arrival mark on reverse. On cover a rarity.

½ a. schwarz auf rosa mit geprägtem "Pfau", Entwertung mit einheimischem Stempel, mit Kombinationsfrankatur Indien QV ½ a. grün, Entwertung mit viereckigem Kreis "INDORE CITY", auf Ganzbrief nach Tellichery mit Ankunftsstempel rückseitig. Auf Ganzbrief eine Rarität.

1904/48, ungebrauchte und gebrauchte Sammlung mit einigen Bögen der ersten Ausgaben, frankierte Abgänge, etc.

1880/1900 (ca.), selection of 34 covers (few fronts) and 17 used stamps including a handfull of the 1857/77 circular stamps, some of which cut square and one on "native" letter, some 1877 oil colours and a variety of usages of the following issue such as on British India 1/2 a. postal stationery envelopes (one 1/2a. orange-red with corner-margin) or on underpaid "native" letters to british territory, in both cases with the stamps often additionally tied by characteristic private pen-markings for the prevention of theft or manipulation. An interesting selection in rather mixed condition.

1880/1900 (ca.), Auswahl von 34 Briefen (wenige Briefvorderseiten) und 17 gebrauchten Marken, dabei eine Handvoll der 1857/77er Rundmarken, davon einige viereckig geschnitten und eine auf "Eingeborenen"-Brief, einige 1877er Ölfarben und eine Vielzahl von Verwendungen der folgenden Ausgabe wie auf Britisch-Indien 1/2 a. Ganzsachenumschlägen (eine 1/2a. orange-rot mit Rand) oder auf unterbezahlten "Eingeborenen"-Briefen nach britischem Territorium, in beiden Fällen mit oft zusätzlichem Binden der Marken durch charakteristische private Stiftmarkierungen zur Diebstahl- oder Manipulationssicherung. Eine interessante Auswahl in eher gemischter Erhaltung.

1878/79, ½ a. red on laid paper, imperf., tied to fancy  cover with print of a dove 'carrying' the address, with combination franking British India ½ a. blue, to Amritsar with arrival mark. Very scarce and most attractive.

1878/79, ½ a. rot auf gestreiftes Papier, ungezähnt, gebunden auf schicken Umschlag mit Druck einer Taube, die die Adresse 'trägt', mit Kombinationsfrankatur Britisch-Indien ½ a. blau, nach Amritsar mit Ankunftsstempel. Sehr selten und sehr schön.
