A collection of attractive covers including such things as very fine PLATED 1d imperfs including three on one cover; 1843/44 EL's with 1d red- browns cancelled by Maltese Cross with numbers "6" (2 covers, including one on a 'turned' reused cover) & "10"; 1843 large part cover 'turned' and used twice with 1d imperfs on both sides; 1847 EL with 1d imperf tied blue pmk; attractive 'Spoon' cancels on 1854/55 covers; 1855 registered EL with 1d star + 6d embossed franking; 1857 choice example of a Glasgow 'Madeline Smith' datestamp on 1d star (so-named after it's importance as evidence in a murder trial!); 1858 EL to Trieste bearing perf 1d 'star' + 4d carmines (2) pretty franking; 1869 pair of 'Prices Current' ELs, 1872 two covers with 1d red + surface print 3d or 6d combinations PLUS MUCH ELSE.
