3274   3c 1857 Issue, Ty. I-IV, Off-Cover Balance (25-26A). More than 700 used stamps arranged on stock sheets and cards, not the usual perforated balance of average No. 26's, many plated, breakdown includes approximately 40 of No. 25, 46+ of No. 25A, 350+ of No. 26 and an impressive 260+ of No. 26A, better varieties abound with plate cracks, double transfers, recuts, plate flaws incl. the "Quadruple Flaw" Position 18L28 (Scott Retail $1,750.00, faults), five lines recut in upper left triangle, cancellations including green, red, blue, fancy stars and geometrics, numerals, wide range of "Paid" and "Paid 3", "Steam", "Way", "Free", imprints, perf varieties, multiples incl. a horizontal strip of seven of No. 25, strip of three of No. 26A, many others, most of these stamps were individually selected by Mr. Wagshal for interesting varieties that caught his eye, a number of stamps could have been individual lots, the sheer magnitude of this group makes viewing recommended, Scott Retail more than $66,000.00
