1760   U.S. POSSESSIONS. Well over 200 stamps and some postal stationery and three covers, incl. Canal Zone Nos. 1 and 2 used, 3 unused block of four, 32c, block of 24 of No. 51, archival "Specimens", 70-81, J1 block of four, 27 examples of J17, precancelled CO8-CO12, five U1 (printed addresses) and unused U15, Guam with nearly complete 2-12 with some duplication, also 5c imprint and plate no. block of six and single used on cover (Zug correspondence), E1 block of four with "Dots" in curved frame, 1c and 2c "Seals" M3-M4 (nine and sixteen each respectively with one 1c used, Hawaii with Nos. 6 (four), unused 17 (repaired), 18 (small thin spots), black vignette die proof as used on No. 32 and two U8 Blue Inside envelopes, Philippines 223, 224, C14, C15, J1-J7, Puerto Rico used No. U7 entire, mixed condition, Fine-Very Fine appearance, with eleven mostly fairly recent certificates, for additional interest, we have included nearly 30 archival proofs from Panama, these are entirely the designs which were overprinted for use in the Canal Zone, includes frames, vignettes, finished proofs, etc., mostly in blocks of four, a lovely addition to a specialized collection of Canal Zone to show the transition from the use of one country's stamps in another E. 7,500-10,000
