2649 E Bank Note Sensitive Ink Plate Essays. Fifteen items, 1c to 90c values, nearly all show effects of "cancelling" (exposure to water or chemicals with the designs blacked out more or less, some brittle with pieces missing), there are a few intact as 3c Green on Deep Pink, 3c Green on Pale Pink and 3c Orange on Pale Green, scarce lot, U.S. philately is fortunate that this patent was not adopted as it would have made collecting used Bank Notes almost impossible E. 300-400
