VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENTAVOS DARK BROWN OFFICIAL WITH "VICTORY" OVERPRINT. ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL THE PHILIPPINES ISSUES.

We have offered only five other singles since keeping computerized records, including Rarities of the World sales going back to 1964. The census compiled by Geoffrey Brewster and published in Possessions lists only 28 known examples.
