COLLECTION LOTS BY COUNTRY OR AREA continued...

Worldwide Collections & Accumulations
Lot Sym. Lot Description
1333   Worldwide Eclectic Collection with Tremendous Catalogue Value, Offered Intact as Received. Majority of collection is focused around 19th century Europe, collected based on the aim of completion rather than quality (and, at times, genuineness), we notice numerous major rarities -- some completely genuine (some with certificates) though with severe faults, many questionable and others completely fake, with that said, there are some items in salable quality, while others less so, worth only a small fraction of their very high catalogue values, including German States with a large degree of completion, Germany with better souvenir sheets, Air Posts, Soviet Zone (incl. Michel Block 2t, used with certificate) and Saar, some German Colonies, Italian States and Italy, Switzerland with large amount of Cantonal items from Zurich, Geneva and Basel (quite a few with certificates), Austria (with Lombardy-Venetia), plus some British Commonwealth focused around Southern Africa (Cape of Good Hope, Natal, Rhodesia, etc.), Great Britain Penny Black (appears unused), even Mexico University Set and Israel 1948 set with tabs, over 40 certificates accompany the lot, condition is heavily mixed ranging from severely faulty and repaired to choice, to the point we liken this lot to a Botswana diamond mine -- plenty of rocks sprinkled with a few gems between, with patience, knowledge and a keen eye, this lot is sure to uncover treasures, as the catalogue value alone is enormous even after taking into account anything that is fake
