Most of exhibition pages, which tells the story of the mail to, through and from Panama, not only using items from Panama, but stamps and covers from all over the world, with such diverse items as Peru 1857 1r Pacific Steampship Navigation stamp (P.F. certificate), France 1869 5fr Napoleon die proof in black, and U.S. 1893 $5.00 Columbian, the Panama stamps have very little in straightforward material, they are mostly proofs, specimens, or errors, including 1915 5c and 20c with inverted center, the strength of the exhibit is in postal history, which shows how Panama became a major player in international mail, there are several covers from the British Post Office in Panama, including a Paid in Crown Circle, various ship covers, forwarding agents (including one with three different forwarding agents handstamps), U.S. usages that went thru Panama, covers related to the early development of the Panama Canal, and more, many of the covers were purchased for hundreds of dollars each, somewhat mixed condition, a most interesting lot containing many better items
