EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE MATCHED SET OF SHEET-MARGIN IMPRIMATUR SINGLES OF THE BRADBURY WILKINSON SEAHORSES.
Only one set of blocks of 36 was sold at the BPMA sale. That block was broken up into singles and smaller blocks. Several 10-Shilling stamps are defective. Therefore few choice quality sets such as this can exist (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A STUNNING AND EXTRAORDINARILY RARE SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1924-26 KING GEORGE V DEFINITIVES.
Only a tiny number of imprimatur sets exist (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE AND STRIKING PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF FOUR OF THE 1924 HALF-PENNY KING GEORGE V.
May well be unique as an imprimatur plate block (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1936 KING EDWARD VIII SERIES.
At the BPMA sale, the offering of King George VIII imprimaturs consisted of a set of sheet-margin singles (the set offered here), a set of sheet-margin pairs, plus positional and tete-beche blocks. The blocks likely remain intact, leaving very few (if any) other opportunities to obtain a set of imprimatur singles (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A PRISTINE AND EXCEEDINGLY RARE SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1937-47 KING GEORGE VI DEFINITIVES.
Probably no more than five or six sets of imprimatur singles exist (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A HANDSOME AND RARE SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE KING GEORGE VI HIGH VALUES.
Only a small number of imprimaturs from this series exist in any form. The BPMA sale had a set in strips of seven and a set in strips or blocks of four. These were broken up into singles and pairs. They also had the unique registration blocks which are probably still intact. (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB SHEET-MARGIN IMPRIMATUR PAIR OF THE 1939 10-SHILLING DARK BLUE KING GEORGE VI "ARMS".
This pair is unique with the sheet number in the margin (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A WONDERFULLY WELL-MATCHED SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1949 U.P.U. ISSUE.
An excellent set of proof material for the United Postal Union specialist (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A BRILLIANT EYE-APPEALING SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1951 FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN ISSUE.
We can find no record of a similar set offered (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. A VERY RARE AND CHOICE QUALITY SET OF IMPRIMATURS OF THE 1955 WATERLOW CASTLES.
