1455 c ImageBalance of Covers from the Kilbourne Collection of Confederate States. 12 covers and one unused Patriotic, the sole Lithograph is a 10c Blue, Paterson (2) tied by Montgomery Ala. circular datestamp to Livingston Ala., four covers with Nos. 6-7 including one single usage, pair with brown Brownsburg Va. circular datestamp (P.F. certificate), the balance are Nos. 11 and 12, mostly Keatinge & Ball prints (a favorite of Charles Kilbourne), including one with Gold Hill N.C. circular datestamp, No. 11 (Archer & Daly) on Apr. 23, 1863 cover (once the earliest known use), Very Fine and worthwhile group, also includes a page of facsimile stamps (Image)
