EXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE RARE GEORGE TALCOTT 4-CENT ON PINK PAPER. ONLY SIX ARE RECORDED.

At least four of the six copies recorded in the Aldrich book are faulty. This is the only example we have offered since keeping computerized records, and has far better centering than the two others we were able to locate in our digital records.

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE ONE-CENT UNITED STATES PROPRIETARY MEDICINE COMPANY ISSUE ON ORANGE RED SILK PAPER IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL PRIVATE DIE MEDICINE STAMPS. ONLY THREE ARE RECORDED.

Only three examples on silk paper are recorded in the Aldrich book. The book notes one is sound, but the three we have been able to locate all have faults. The example offered here is the most presentable of the three.
