VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE CATEGORY I 1893 5-CENT ULTRAMARINE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT DOUBLE OVERPRINT. ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE WITH THE PART IMPRINT SELVAGE.

Only ten stamps in one sheet were doubly overprinted (Category I), of which eight surviving examples are reported.
