VERY FINE "SPECIMEN" OVERPRINT ON THE 1890 ONE-POUND I.R. OFFICIAL WITH WATERMARK THREE ORBS. ONE OF THE RAREST "SPECIMEN" OVERPRINTS OF GREAT BRITAIN.

Though an affordable alternative to the issued stamp, which is a major Great Britain rarity that catalogues $100,000.00 (SG £100,000), examples with "Specimen" overprints are rarities in their own right. Only a tiny number are believed to exist.
