4933 P French Southern & Antarctic Territories Large and Valuable Accumulation of Large Die Proofs. Impressive selection of over 500 large die proofs, from the earliest issue through the late 1980s, includes die sunk and printed directly on card, in issued colors, non-issued colors, sepia and black, some collective proofs (more than one stamp on the same card) including one measuring 298 x 280mm with five values from the 1971 Fish series, Maury-listed proofs with perforated stamps ("Blocs speciaux") which catalogue up to €1,000 each, excellent variety with only mild duplication (often on the better items), these are virtually all scarce to rare, with some noted as one of four issued, the consignor purchased most of these one-at-a-time or in sets, often paying many hundreds of dollars each, Very Fine, an incredible offering of over 500 proofs from one of the most popular collecting areas of the French Community

4936 c Germany 17th and 18th Century Postal History. Nine letters from 1618 to 1798, three are from the 17th Century incl. one from Bayreuth to Brandenburg with "Cito" in the address, one 1841 folded letter to Hannover with manuscript "Francko Luneberg", one 1753 from Hannover with partially printed contract, two have handstamp postal markings, 1786 "v. Erlang" and 1798 folded cover "V.
