3083 c ImageCOLOMBIA, 1921, 30c Rose, Diagonal Bisect, Air Post (C15 var). Top right diagonal bisect, tied across cut with National 3c by large blue Barranquilla datestamp (in transit), used with normal 30c Rose and tied by "Sociedad Colomo-Alemana de Transportes Aereos" three-line handstamp on Oct. 1921 legal sized cover with American Woolen Products printed address to New York, cover with file fold at far left away from stamps

VERY FINE AND STUNNING SHOWPIECE. THE UNIQUE COMMERICAL USE THE 30-CENT ROSE BISECT. STATED BY GEBAUER AS "THE GREATEST FIND IN SCADTA STAMPS".

This commercial cover pays the correct 45c rate (30c plus bisect of 15c) for up to 60 grams. Illustrated in Gebauer on page 48, along with the three other known bisects. See Lot 3111 for the Colomphil No. 8 -2/3 bisect.
