2093 c Image12c Black, 1861-68 Issues, Covers to Great Britain. 18 covers on exhibit pages from the Chip Gliedman collection, each to England, Scotland or Ireland, several more interesting including mixed franking with 40c French stamp for forwarding, mixed franking with 1p GB stamp for forwarding, use to Scotland from San Francisco, one which had great trouble finding its recipient and struck with more than 10 circular datestamps during its route, some with pairs and three covers bearing four stamps, some E and F Grills, mixed condition with some stamp or cover flaws, overall Fine balance (Image)

Choice balance from the Chip Gliedman collection, 24 covers mounted on exhibit pages to foreign destinations other than the British Isles (those offered in lot 2093), nice range including Germany, Holland, Italy, France, Canada and Colombia, most are franked with additional 1861-68 Issue stamps, some in some very attractive combinations including couple with Black Jacks and one three-color combination, a few interesting uses including one the consignor believes demonstrates clear evidence of a re-used stamp (front only), mixed condition with some stamp and cover flaws but many are Fine-Very Fine or appear so, a desirable group of 12c 1861 foreign-bound covers without the most common Great Britain uses (Image)
