FINE APPEARANCE. AN IMMENSELY RARE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 6-PENCE REDDISH PURPLE ON THICK WOVE PAPER.

It is believed that less than twelve unused examples exist in private hands. Virtually all are found with no gum and with varying degrees of faults (some are extensively repaired).
