Feb. 22" circular datestamp on cover to Salem N.C., letters of datestamp enhanced with pen, Very Fine strike of this fancy cancel, the two sets of three linked ovals within the hollow "C" are believed to be symbols of the Odd Fellow's Masonic order, this handstamp is known on unused envelopes, indicating provisional use, it is scarce as a handstamped "Paid" and is very rare used as a cancellation on stamps (Image) E. $ 500-750
