VERY FINE. A HANDSOME UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 6-PENCE GRAYISH LILAC ON BLUISH. ONE OF THE RAREST SHADES OF THE 1855 WHITE PAPER ISSUES.

VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 5-PFENNIG ON 3-PFENNIG PONAPE PROVISIONAL ONLY KNOWN IN USED CONDITION DURING A SUPPLY SHORTAGE.

Due to the unexpected arrival of the Imperial East Asian Cruiser Squadron on July 2, supplies of the 5pf and 10pf stamps became exhausted. This Provisional was in use for only one day.
