EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE $10.00 PROBATE OF WILL IMPERFORATE ISSUE.

Evidence points to an imperforate supply of 856, as eleven sheets (792 others) were returned for perforating. They were first delivered Dec. 18, 1862, so this is an early use. It is rare with such large margins in sound condition.

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB AND STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THE IMPERFORATE $15.00 MORTGAGE. A MAGNIFICENT STAMP.

According to Revenue Stamps of the United States 1862-1899, the total supply of $15.00 Mortgage stamps issued (in both perforated or imperforate form) was 18,358. The book also states that there was likely an imperforate supply of 162, less 90 returned for perforating, for a total supply of 72. However, the total available to collectors would indicate a slightly larger supply (including some that may be fraudulently trimmed perforated stamps).
