FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE CANCELLED BY AN UNMISTAKABLY GREEN HANDSTAMP. PERHAPS TWO OR THREE ARE KNOWN CANCELLED IN GREEN.

The online records of the Philatelic Foundation contain this sole example. Our 1997 Jonathan Rose sale contained a sound example with a green Star fancy cancel, which was one of the highlights of that sale. These are the only two recorded examples cancelled in green.
